Taylor and Francis Prize 2012
It is our pleasure to inform you that two of our institute co-workers received awards at the recent Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering (CMBBE) symposium (Berlin, 11 - 14 April 2012).
Giacomo Marini received the poster award for his work "An Algorithm for Modeling the Fiber Distribution of the Annulus Fibrosus within Arbitrarily-Aligned Meshes". René Widmer received the award for best presentation in CMBBE for his work "Patient-Specific Modelling of Vertebroplasty: How Can We Optimize the Outcome of the Treatment?"
